Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Mann’s sister Manpreet Kaur’s father-in-law, Ajit Singh, died at Government Rajindra Medical College and Hospital in Patiala on Monday. He was 78.Ajit Singh had been undergoing treatment at the hospital for the past few days for age-related ailments.His body was taken to his native Rampura village near Bhawanigarh in Sangrur district, where it was cremated according to socio-religious customs.The CM’s mother, Harpal Kaur, and wife, Dr Gurpreet Kaur, expressed condolences to the bereaved family and attended the cremation ceremony.
