A TEACHER has been found guilty of having sex with a pupil up to 30 times and kissing a second teen.

Sally-Anne Bowen, 65, abused two boys at Christ’s College in Finchley, North London when they were aged 14 and 15 in the 1980s.

The teacher – then aged 25 – “engaged in flirtatious conduct” with the pupils and “engaged in sexual relationships with them both”.

Jurors heard she dressed in “short, very tight skirts” and would walk around the school with her “t**s sticking out”.

Bowen – now aged 65 – also compared herself to a model in a porn mage – telling her young pupils: “That’s what my p***y looks like”.

She has now been found guilty seven counts of indecent assault against two teenage pupils in the late 1980s.

Harrow Crown Court heard Bowen joined the school in her first job as a chemistry teacher in the 1980s.

She began speaking with the first boy even though he was not in her class and “made him feel special”, it was said.

Jurors heard the pair would spend lunchtime together chatting and sometimes got the school bus home together.

Ms Wolfe added: “As far as he was concerned, their relationship went to the point he thought she was his girlfriend – that he loved her and she loved him.”

Bowen would encourage the male pupils to “speak and joke openly about sex”.

She was said to have no boundaries and “felt more like trying to be one of us, like our friend, than a teacher”.

Jurors heard Bowen had sex with the 14-year-old boy between 20 and 30 times and he believed they were in a relationship.

His mum later became suspicious and called Bowen, who denied anything was happening.

When the relationship continued after the holidays, his mum called the school and was told Bowen was no longer working there with “no reason or explanation given”.

She later told the boy she was leaving the UK to stay at a kibbutz in Israel, the court heard.

The boy first disclosed the abuse to a partner, who told him to go to police.

When Bowen was interviewed in 2015, she claimed he was a “bit of a nuisance” and “besotted” with her.

He also took part in Tortoise Media’s ‘Lucky Boy’ podcast in 2025 and said he might want to have sex with her again.

Giving evidence, he said he had wanted to speak to Bowen for “restorative justice” and “might want to do these things”, before revealing: “She reported me to police for ‘threatening to rape her’ on the basis of that quote.”

As a result of the allegations, Bowen faced a Teaching Regulation Authority (TRA) hearing in 2022.

The second boy then read about the TRA hearing online and came forward after encouragement from his wife and family.

He claimed he was “goaded” by other boys at the school into kissing “young and attractive” Bowen.

The pupil also remembered touching her breasts and putting his hand near her crotch – to which “she would not react negatively”, it was said.

Bowen’s defence centred around claims she has a medical condition which makes sex painful.

Her partner of 36 years Darren Scotchbrook told jurors he was “always quick” in bed to spare her discomfort.

Asked if he enjoyed the sex, Mr Scotchbrook said: “She made me listen to Leonard Cohen.

“It was more enjoyable than that.”

Bowen denied eight counts of indecent assault.
