KANYE West has raked in £18 million for gigs he didn’t even perform – while his fans have been left out of pocket, it’s been reported.
It’s been a year of no-shows for Ye, 49, and this week saw two dates in St Petersburg, Russia cancelled.

But sources close to the rapper have claimed Kanye will only sign up for performances if he’s paid half the fee upfront.
Meaning, despite his Russian fans missing out, he still pocketed a rumoured £7.3 million for doing nothing at all.

Earlier this year there was huge controversy after Ye was booked to headline Wireless in London.
After strong backlash following his anti-Semitic comments the entire festival – which was supposed to take place last month – was cancelled.

But the Daily Mail reports Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband still received £5.5 million.
And two axed gigs in France and Italy, for which he is said to have been paid £2.9 million and £18.7 million respectively, mean the All Falls Down hitmaker earned a cool £18.7 million this summer without stepping foot on a stage.
An insider told the publication: “Kanye’s management are killing his career here, because every cancellation means that you have another market where people won’t want to take him on again.
“It seems the people who organised the gigs in Russia didn’t have the ability to do so. Everyone got tempted by the money, and then it’s blown up in their faces.
“If you want to do a gig in Russia, you need to sit down with one of Putin’s assistants and offer assurances nothing is going to happen to cause the government embarrassment.”
The Jattvibe has contacted Kanye’s representatives for comment.
Despite the huge outrage over his Wireless booking, The Jattvibe told earlier this year how Kanye is still determined to play UK gigs in the future.
A source said: “Ye has not given up on his dream of performing in the UK again.
“He knows that it takes time to convince and persuade authorities but is willing to work with them so that they have a better understanding of his prior bipolar episode.
“Ye has a huge fan base in the UK and is determined to come here and perform again.”
