EVERTON have reportedly decided Harrison Armstrong is not for sale after club chiefs were warned they would face a huge backlash.
The midfielder, 19, started the Toffees’ draw with Bournemouth yesterday despite it emerging that Nottingham Forest were prepared to pay £40million to land him.

And the travelling fans sang that they were prepared to start a riot if Armstrong was flogged in the final days of the transfer window.
The threat of protests has resulted in supporters getting their wish ahead of Tuesday’s deadline.

BBC Sport report Everton have called off a proposed deal to sell Armstrong to Forest.
A bid worth £40m plus a potential sell-on clause was lodged for the England Under-19s star.

But the Everton board, led by chairman Dan Friedkin, decided to snub Forest’s offer after realising they risked leaving Toffees fans furious.
Supporters who had travelled to Bournemouth repeatedly chanted: “Don’t sell Armstrong, Harrison Armstrong, I just don’t think you understand.
“If you sell Armstrong, Harrison Armstrong, you’re going to have a riot on your hands.”
But, following the stalemate at the Vitality Stadium, boss David Moyes made no promises over the academy graduate’s future.

During his post-match press conference, he said: “We’ve had an offer for Harrison, that’s as much as I can give you.”
When Moyes, 63, was pushed on whether he expected Armstrong to stay on Merseyside, the Conference League winner replied: “Not sure yet.”
Forest supremo Oliver Glasner was hopeful that Everton would be persuaded to cash in.
The ex-Crystal Palace chief said: “Let’s see. I’m very confident that we find and add the right players.”

Former Preston loanee Armstrong has started each of Everton’s three showdowns this term.
The teenage sensation was crowned the Toffees’ Young Player of the Season for 2025/26.
