EMMERDALE fans well know that Kim Tate has many hidden skeletons in her cupboard – and now one of them has been revealed.
In the latest episode of the ITV soap, which dropped on ITVX this morning but will air tonight, the identity of the ruthless businesswoman’s secret daughter is identified.

There has been a lot of tension in Emmerdale over the last week in the aftermath of the latest car crash in the Dales, which saw Jimmy plough into Dawn and Joe’s wedding marquee – killing himself and also the bride.
Following this, DS Thea Ramsden, played by actress Chelsea Edge, was brought in to investigate and for some reason, unbeknown to fans, has been hell bent on framing Kim Tate (Claire King) for the crash.

The copper, who has described Kim as “the devil”, even tried to get help to break into Home Farm to find some information she could use against her.
Tonight, DS Ramsden put her revenge plot into action, and arrested Kim for dangerous driving in connection with the wedding crash.

This is because the detective knew Jimmy had swerved to avoid another vehicle and wanted to frame Kim as its driver.
As the episode progressed, Kim was seen being interrogated by the vengeful DS Ramsden.

The Home Farm owner was then heard telling DS Ramsden that she would “hate to meet the person who made [her] that way”, to which the detective remarked how she “felt the same”.
After this happened viewers were then taken back in time, and in a flashback, Kim was seen in a hospital ward giving up a baby for adoption.
She was then asked by a nurse what she would like to call the baby, to which she replied: “Anthea.”
DS Ramsden was then shown holding a folder which said her full name on it, meaning she is Kim’s daughter.
Fans who have already watched the first look episode were left with their jaw dropped, with one saying: “I’ve just watched today’s episode that ending!”
Another added: “Wow didn’t see that coming what a twist”
A third said: “The way my jaw DROPPED!”
Emmerdale airs tonight on ITV at 8pm
