LEEDS have snapped up the fastest player in Bundesliga history to bolster Daniel Farke’s squad.
Jean-Matteo Bahoya, 21, arrived at Elland Road from Eintracht Frankfurt on an initial season long loan with an obligation to buy for £25.7m.

The signing of the electric French U21 winger paved the way for Italian flanker Willy Gnonto to return to his homeland and join Fiorentina on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
Bahoya is the only player to surpass 37km/h since Bundesliga records began.

For context on Bahoya, Usain Bolt’s average speed when setting the 100m world record in 2009 was 37.58km/h.
Leeds are paying a £1.7m loan fee and will be obliged to pay a further £19.7m, plus £4.3m in potential add-ons, if he triggers a clause in the deal to make it permanent.

Leeds also added versatile French left back Melvin Bard, 25, on a season-long loan from Nice with an option to buy.
Meanwhile, fellow winger Largie Ramazani also departed Leeds.
The 25-year-old Belgian moved to Championship outfit Burnley on an initial season-long loan.
That will become permanent next summer, depending on appearances, for a fee of £6.5m with a potential further £2m in add-ons.

Ramazani, who spent last term on loan at Valencia, said: “It feels amazing. I’m well aware of Burnley as a club from the competition we had a couple of years ago and it’s a great club.
“I know a few of the players here already too, so it’s a really exciting move for me and I’m ready to show what I can do and help Burnley get back to the Premier League.
“I have experience from playing in this league and creating that winning environment, so I’m hoping I can bring something to the team on and off the pitch.”
