POLICE have issued an urgent plea for information about an elderly woman who was murdered and found dumped inside a bin bag.
A member of the public found the remains on Friday afternoon near Liverpool’s Anfield stadium.
The black bin bag was found in the walled garden of Stanley Park and detectives fear the remains could have been there for weeks.
The woman, believed to be in her 70s, is yet to be identified and Merseyside Police have issued a fresh appeal for information.
