The fight will be Benn’s first at 147lbs in over FOUR YEARS, with his back-to-back family grudge matches with Chris Eubank Jr taking place at 160lbs.
‘The Destroyer’ looks like a fraction of the fighter who battered Eubank Jr from pillar to post in their second straight Tottenham tussle last November.

And Garcia has no doubt that the effects of the Greenwich gladiator’s gruelling weight cut will rear their ugly head come fight night.

“And how he’s gonna learn [what happens] when you force anything in life.
“You’re gonna run into some s**t.”
Garcia hasn’t seen anything from Benn, whose career was almost permanently derailed by a pair of failed drug tests, in his back-to-back bouts with Eubank Jr or his lopsided points win over Regis Prograis in April to give him cause for concern.
And he’s predicting an early night at the office, saying: “[I’ll knock him out] in five or less [rounds].
“If it goes to six, he might just leave out in a stretcher, I ain’t gonna lie.
“I don’t wanna wish the worst on him, but.”

The fruits of Benn’s gruelling labour in the gym and in the kitchen were revealed late last month.
The 29-year-old looks incredibly slender for his return to welterweight.
And boxing fans have expressed concern over how weight-drained he looks with just over a week to go before fight night.
One wrote on X: “He looks weight-drained. Can’t see him beating Garcia! Sorry. 🤷🏻’”
Another said: “He’s starting to get them sunken in eyes. Getting knocked out.”
And another said: “This can’t be a real photo.”

One remarked: “He prob still needs to lose at least another 10lbs.
“He might not look well on the scales.”
Another chimed in: “Looks emaciated.”
Winning the WBC strap would see Benn follow in the footsteps of his dad, British boxing icon Nigel, by winning one of the Mexican sanctioning body’s prestigious green and gold belts.
Conor said in the past: “I think for me winning the WBC welterweight title is heavy on my heart and heavy on my mind.
“It’s the belt my dad won, it’s the belt I would love to win. It’s my dream.”
