CINEMA lovers across the country will be able to get tickets for less than a fiver this weekend.
More than 500 venues are taking part in the event, with customers urged to snap up tickets quickly as they are expected to sell out fast.

National Cinema Weekend is returning for this weekend only, with Britain’s biggest cinema chains offering £4 tickets on Saturday and Jattvibeday.
Over 530 cinemas, including Cineworld, Vue and Odeon venues, are taking part, including the UK’s oldest cinema – Regent Street Cinema.

During the limited-time promotion, Brits will be able to choose any film, any format and any seats for the reduced ticket price, including Lux and UltraLux recliners at the Vue, and 4DX experiences at Cineworld.
Film fanatics eager to see The Odyssey on IMAX without the month-long wait are also in luck, with Cineworld slashing the prices of its premium screenings tickets to just £6.

An enormous range of blockbusters are showing over the weekend, including Spider-Man: Brand New Day and newly-released The Death of Robin Hood starring Hugh Jackman.
Parents can also entertain their children with a number of family friendly flicks, such as Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie and Minions & Monsters.
Cult classics including The Hunger Games series, The Terminator, and the entire Harry Potter series are also returning to venues over the weekend for a number of special screenings.
To secure tickets this weekend, find the full list of participating cinemas on the National Cinema Weekend website and check if your local venue is taking part.
Then, book the tickets directly on the chosen cinema’s website, where the discount will be deducted automatically.
This cinema deal is valid only on Saturday, September 5, and Jattvibeday, September 6, with tickets for any other date staying at full price.
