TWO children have been killed and two adults are in critical condition after a horror plane crash in California.
A single engine aircraft went down near the Sierra Sky Park Airport in Fresno, just before 2pm on Saturday.

Police rushed to the scene where they found the plane on fire atop the bank of the San Joaquin River.
Firefighters battled the flames amid towering plumes of black smoke in a desperate bid to prevent the fire spreading to nearby homes.

There were four people on board the plane – two children and two adults.
The two children were pronounced dead at the scene while the adults were taken to hospital for critical injuries.
Officials said the victims identities and their relationship to one another is currently unknown.
The crash briefly knocked power out for nearby homes, but this has since been restored.
The National Transportation Safety Board confirmed it has launched a probe into the fatal crash.
The agency said the victims were in a Grumman American Avn. Corp. AA-5 airplane, a four-seat, single-engine aircraft.
