A MAJOR retailer is selling items for as little as £2 on its website as it prepares to close 150 stores.
TG Jones, which was formerly WH Smith, has launched huge closing down sales both online and in its stores.
On the website you can grab a weekly planner or a ring binder for £2, while items such as gift bags, books and toys are also included in the sale.
The retailer told online customers: “Don’t miss your last chance to buy and grab your favourites for less today – once items in our Sale are gone, they really are gone forever!”

FINAL FIT
British clothing chain with over 170 UK locations permanently closes store
It comes after the stationery chain closed two branches yesterday.
The locations in Redcar and Redhill both closed for good after launching closing down sales with up to 50% off.
TG Jones already closed a site in Bath on September 1, and will close a total of 19 sites in September.
Closures are also set to take place in October.
The former WHSmith high street arm was sold last year and rebranded as TG Jones in a £76million shake-up aimed at saving the business.
But trading at the stores is understood to have been poor since the turn of the year.
The owner of TG Jones, Modella Capital, gained approval for a company-wide restructure on July 1.
Now, up to 150 stores are at risk of closure, with rent set to be cut by 15 to 75% on hundreds more.
While WH Smith sold all its high street stores to Modella last year, it continues to operate its travel shops, including in airports and train stations, which was the more profitable part of the business.
