ACTRESS and filmmaker Georgina Lightning has died aged 63 after an “equestrian accident” at a rodeo event.
Paramedics treated the 63-year-old at the scene, where she was pronounced dead, according to cops.

The Enoch Cree First Nation said in a Facebook post today that Lightning died “following an incident at this evening’s Indian Relay event at the Enoch Rodeo Grounds.”
Georgina starred on British comedy drama show Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.

She appeared as Lainie Proudfoot in four episodes in 2002.
Georgina was also well known for writing, directing, producing and starring in the 2008 feature Older Than America.
The show, which drew on her own school experiences, went on to win more than two dozen festival awards.
Her three children are either currently or previously working actors.
They are Crystle Lightning, Cody Lightning, and William Lightning.
