NATHAN JONES claims a linesman looked at him like he had “volleyed his cat” after protesting an offside on Wednesday night.
The Charlton boss was furious that Tyreece Campbell had been flagged after finishing off Oliver Skipp‘s through-ball in a goalless draw with QPR at The Valley.

Jones told Sky Sports: “They were giving offsides willy-nilly.
“We had one offside which wasn’t. The goal is a great goal from a great counter-attack, it’s onside and it has cost us three points once again.

“I think the arrogance of the linesman is mental because he’s looking at me as if I’ve just volleyed his cat. He’s looking at me as if I have done something and going, ‘nah’.
“He’s made the biggest error of the night and he’s cost us the game. That is the Championship because the Championship is brutal.”
Hothead Jones, 53, has become well-known for his animated interviews across spells with Luton, Stoke, Southampton and now Charlton.
The Welshman’s outburst in midweek was his second in the space of a few days.

He also tore into referee Robert Madley after Charlton’s 4-0 hammering at Stoke on Saturday, saying: “I’ve gone in and seen him.
“I’m bitterly disappointed with my own team’s performance, but I’m as bitterly disappointed with another performance as well.”
Charlton sit fifth in the Championship after taking three wins, two draws and one defeat from their first six games.
They host Portsmouth on Saturday before a trip to Cardiff leading into the international break.
