Benn, 29, returns to welterweight for the first time in over FOUR YEARS.
And he has described his cut back down to 147lb as “hell” leading to concerns over whether he will make the weight.
Garcia confirmed he has even requested that both fighters be allowed to wear 8oz gloves if one of them missed the limit.
Rules in Nevada state anything over 148lb requires 10oz to be worn.

Ryan Garcia will make the first defence of his WBC welterweight title against British superstar Conor Benn THIS Saturday.
The blockbuster Las Vegas event is under the arm of Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing promotion.
Garcia, 28, captured his first world title in February by securing a dominant unanimous decision victory over Mario Barrios.
Benn, 29, is challenging for a world title for the first time in his professional career.
His sole professional defeat came against domestic rival Chris Eubank Jr in April 2025, a loss he quickly avenged with a dominant unanimous decision victory in their November 2025 rematch.
Benn enters the biggest bout of his life following a decisive points win over former world champion Regis Prograis in April, which marked his debut under Zuffa Boxing.

And Garcia said: “I’m just making sure that if he does not come in on weight, I still want to use the weapons that I’m used to using, which are 8oz gloves.
“So, it was more just um a cautionary thing in case he doesn’t make weight, that I get to still use 8oz gloves.
“Because that’s what I always fight at 147 and I don’t want to fight with 10oz. It’s more deadly at 8oz anyway, so that’s kind of why I did that.”
Benn responded: “I’ve never missed weight in 10 years.
“You’re talking to someone who’s never missed weight versus someone who has missed weight previously, multiple times.
“So I don’t know, even I don’t even know why this has been brought up. ‘Oh, let me make a request for someone who’s never missed weight before. Let me put a request in.’
“It should be the other way around. I’ve never missed weight, ever.”
