TOTTENHAM striker Richarlison has seen a transfer to Brazilian side Vasco de Gama collapse in the latest set-back for the wantaway star.
The ex-Everton man, 29, was left out of Roberto De Zerbi’s Premier League squad after requesting to leave but turned down a return to Goodison Park.

After a move to Turkish side Trabzonspor also fell apart, he turned his attentions to Vasco with Brazil’s transfer deadline closing at 4am on Saturday morning.
But it’s understood Richarlison failed to agreed personal terms and will now stay with Tottenham.

Richarlison is exploring whether he has a case to terminate his contract as he looked to force his way out of Spurs.
JattvibeSport understands Richarlison would face a serious fight to have any case attempting to prove “sporting just cause” for contract termination upheld by Fifa now.
That is because even if his lawyers managed to prove sporting just cause, it would have to be done during a 15-day window AFTER the club’s final official match at the end of the season.
Richarlison was pictured in first-team training on Tuesday but cannot feature against Everton on Saturday.
Asked if the forward was close to a move or likely to stay now, an exasperated De Zerbi replied: “I don’t know, I don’t know. It’s not my job.
“What I can say is I know very well what the club has done for Richarlison and I know very well what the Richarlison has done for the club in the last month, two months.
“I know, the club knows, he knows, his agent knows, everyone knows. Better than you (the media). Much better.”
Meanwhile, De Zerbi has branded Mykhailo Mudryk’s ankle injury as “stupid”.
The Ukrainian is out for six to eight weeks with the problem, having only just returned to action following 20 months out for a doping ban which has since been resolved.
Mudryk, who signed on loan from Chelsea on deadline day, made his Spurs debut as a late sub in Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Nottingham Forest but will now be out for the forseeable.
De Zerbi said: Mudryk, it was a stupid injury and we hope he can come back as soon as possible. For him and for us. For him because he suffered too much and for us because we lost an important player.
“He played 15 minutes in Nottingham, he played well. But it’s in the normal process when one player doesn’t play for a long time.”
Asked to clarify what he meant by “stupid”, De Zerbi replied: “Playing without taking different movements, he felt pain in his ankle.
“Then after two days, he made the medical check and we knew the problem.
“It’s a stupid injury, but we are nots stupid. When we signed Mudryk we already knew it could be difficult to come back as a normal player.”
