CATHERINE O’Hara’s on-screen children reunited to give an emotional tribute.
The actress, who died in January, was honored tonight when Dan Levy, Annie Murphy and Macaulay Culkin put on a united front to kick off the In Memoriam segment on the Emmys stage.

“Catherine O’Hara. We remember her as the forgetful mother,” Macaulay began.
“But we’ll never forget about her. There are all types of words I could use to describe Catherine. She was encouraging. She was warm. She was funny, but the word that I think of is ‘Mom.’

“She wasn’t just a wife and mother to Beau and Matthew and Luke, she was my mom.”
Catherine, who died on January 30, was last publicly seen at last year’s Emmys event last September.

Her final public sighting was at a party that Apple TV threw to toast the awards show.
At the event, she walked the red carpet with her date, husband Bo Welch, in a black dress.
She had a glowing history with the prestigious awards, and often had something to celebrate.
She had won twice, after being nominated 10 times for the honor.

Catherine died on January 30 at 71 after being rushed to an LA hospital with difficulty breathing.
The Schitt’s Creek star’s immediate cause of death was pulmonary embolism, and rectal cancer was the underlying cause, TMZ reported on Monday, February 9.
Catherine had never spoken publicly about a battle with cancer, though she showed subtle signs she was feeling unwell in the months before her death.
She quietly skipped this year’s Golden Globes despite her nomination for her role in The Studio.
The U.S. Jattvibe also exclusively revealed that Catherine was forced to miss the beginning of filming for Season 2 of The Studio in January.
Insiders close to the production shared that the filming schedule was quietly changed to accommodate the Home Alone star, who was dealing with “personal matters.”
The source also stated that “it was not widely known” that Catherine had any significant health problems.
Catherine looked noticeably thinner appearance at the Emmy Awards in September.
