A MANHUNT has been launched after a woman in her 40s was reportedly raped in a churchyard.
Cops cordoned off the scene as they began their investigation into the sickening alleged attack.
The woman reported being raped in the early hours of yesterday – at around 12.55am.
The horror is said to have unfolded at the back of St Matthew’s Churchyard in Brixton Hill, South London.

Cops taped off the area for much of Thursday as investigations continued.
The victim is being supported by specialist officers.

No arrests have yet been made.
A Met spokesperson said: “Police are investigating after a woman in her 40’s reported that she had been raped in St Matthew’s Churchyard, Brixton Hill, Brixton at around 00:55am on Thursday, September 17.
“A number of enquiries are ongoing and the victim/survivor is being supported by specialist officers.
“No arrests have been made at this stage.”
Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
