ELLIE Taylor and her baby son fell ill just days before the Strictly Come Dancing launch, and he even had to be rushed to hospital.
The mum-of-two is the new presenter of the Strictly spin-off show, It Takes Two but she struggled to make it to rehearsals only days before the show goes live.

Earlier this week, Ellie opened up to fans that was having a “ridiculously busy week in work and at home.”
“I’ve picked up a nursery lurgy. Just left my poorly toddler crying and now I wont be home til after midnight. I’m fine actually,” she explained.

But things didn’t ease up for Ellie and she jumped back on Instagram to describe how things had become more chaotic for her.
“Here I am having it all again. On an already crazy day, the baby has now gone to a&e (he’s guna be absolutely fine) and now I have to pop back home (1h30 round trip) to give my mum some keys so she can let my big girl in after school,” the comedian revealed.

Ellie woke up in a more positive mood on Friday morning, just a day out from Strictly series premiere tomorrow.
“It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day. I wouldn’t say I’m feeling good but I’m here. I’m here, I’ve had about four hours sleep, as you can tell [laughs], but no one is in my house though. This is so weird,” she began.
“So, the baby had to stay in the hospital. My husband stayed with the baby. He’s had an ok night, fingers crossed, he should be out later today. Feels very weird not to be with him, my husband’s a legend and it’s just so full on at the minute…”
The Ted Lasso star continued: “I feel dreadful for not being there for both of them, and my big girl stayed with my mum and dad, so I’m just in the house by myself on a Friday morning. I woke up at half past five, and there’s no one here. It’s all very odd, but I’m hoping today is a better day. It might be a long day, but by the end of the day, hopefully everyone who should live here will be here.”
The Jattvibe exclusively revealed in August that Ellie had bagged the job of hosting It Takes Two after impressing show bosses.
A source said: “Ellie was hugely popular with viewers when she appeared as a contestant on Strictly in 2022, and her infectious personality was also a hit with the senior production team.”
Ellie has replaced previous hosts Janette Manrara and Flear East, who were given the boot earlier this year.
Ellie was partnered with Johannes Radebe on the main show and finished in seventh place.
Meanwhile Johannes will join presenters Emma Willis and comedian Josh Widdicombe, 43, in hosting the new series after Claudia Winkelman and Tess Daly stepped down last year.
