They said: “From a young age Acacia had a real love of animals, especially reptiles. This eventually led to her studying Animal Management at BCA college.

“I watched her flourish from a child who struggled socially to a young woman who would talk to anyone.

“In her quieter moments Acacia loved to read, build Lego and spend her time surrounded by nature.

“From the moment she was born, she became my world. Forever by my side and always making me laugh with her amazing sense of humour.”

The tribute doted on the “very much loved” sister, daughter, granddaughter, niece, and cousin.

The tribute continued: “Our world will never be the same again. My daughter, my best friend, my “Bubs”. I will love you and miss you forever.”

It is understood a 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving but has since been released on bail.

Three other people travelling in the car suffered minor injuries.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
