PATRICK Clancy’s new wife has revealed they are starting a family during the couple’s first emotional TV interview together.
Patrick and his wife Dr. Rachel Danis appeared on 60 Minutes on Jattvibeday night, speaking openly about his grief, their relationship and the conspiracy theories that have surrounded him since Lindsay killed their three children.

Lindsay strangled Cora, five, Dawson, three, and eight-month-old Callan with exercise bands inside the family’s Duxbury, Massachusetts, home in January 2023.
Her defense team argued that she was not criminally responsible because she was suffering from postpartum psychosis.

But the blockbuster case ended in a dramatic mistrial earlier this month after jurors failed to reach a unanimous verdict following seven days of deliberations.
In one of the most revealing moments of the interview, correspondent Ross Douthat asked, “And you guys are starting a family?”
“Yeah,” Rachel simply replied, although she did not confirm whether or not she is pregnant.
Patrick, who married fertility doctor Rachel, 37, earlier this year, said their new child would grow up knowing about Cora, Dawson and Callan.
“I think every parent can agree, you have different relationships with your kids, but they’re all your kids,” he said.
“And I can’t wait to tell them about their brothers and sister.”
Pregnancy rumors first circulated after the couple were recently spotted out on a walk in New York, with Rachel appearing to show a baby bump.
Rachel recalled how the pair first met in February 2024 before marrying in April this year.
“And I was just a girl that met a guy running in Central Park on a really cold Saturday,” she said.
“And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.”
Rachel also recalled spotting Patrick’s children on his phone as they paid for coffee on an early date, asking, “Who are those cuties?” before he revealed they were his children and had died.
The Clancy case was described on 60 Minutes as a “national obsession.”

In the wide-ranging interview, Patrick also revealed how he broke down before hearing his harrowing 911 call played in court, struggled with suicidal thoughts in the aftermath of his children’s deaths, and has tried to find peace while keeping their memory alive.
Patrick recalled how Lindsay first began struggling with insomnia in October 2022, months before the killings.
“I didn’t know how to manage a postpartum illness,” he said.
“I’m sure there are things I didn’t see. I think mental illness has this ability to be tragically deceptive.”
Patrick spoke candidly about rebuilding his life in the shadow of unimaginable grief and admitted he became suicidal after the deaths.
“There was a time when I didn’t think I would live to see my 35th birthday, and I was completely fine with it,” he said.
He also described the agonizing four days that Callan remained alive in the hospital after the killings.
“That night I really thought there was a chance that Callan would live,” Patrick said.
“And I remember just thinking, just gimme one, just gimme one kid, and I would raise him as best I could.
“I would give him the best life I possibly could. I would tell him about his brother and sister, and I was holding out hope for that.”
But he said he realized he would not survive and he was grateful for the days he had with him.
Through tears, Patrick recalled telling his son, “I’m so sorry.”
“I got to hold him, I got to lay down next to him, and he died in my arms,” he said.
Patrick later moved to New York to escape the attention surrounding the tragedy in Massachusetts and marked what would have been Callan’s first birthday by visiting St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
He said he lit a candle and told his son, “I love you, buddy.”
“And I walk out on Fifth Avenue and I start crying my eyes out, and nobody cared,” Patrick said, explaining that the anonymity allowed him to grieve in peace.
Despite everything that happened, Patrick, 36, insisted Lindsay is not a “monster” and said refusing to forgive her would have left him “eaten up inside, forever.”
He said Lindsay, who remains in Tewksbury Hospital, never asked for his forgiveness, but he chose to give it to her.
The biggest bombshells from the interview
Rachel revealed the pair are starting a family.
Patrick said their baby will grow up knowing about Cora, Dawson and Callan.
Patrick revealed he was suicidal after his children died.
He recalled holding Callan as he died in his arms in hospital.
Patrick said he has forgiven Lindsay and insisted she is not a “monster”.
He suffered a “massive, traumatic panic attack” before his 911 call was played at Lindsay’s trial.
Patrick hit back at the conspiracy theories surrounding him.
Patrick also opened up about taking the stand during Lindsay’s murder trial and suffering what he described as a “massive traumatic panic attack” moments before his harrowing 911 call was played in court.
“Testifying is very difficult,” he said.
“On the second day, a lot of that was focused on the night of January 24th.
“We did take a break right before they played the 911 call, which I knew was gonna be just horrific.
“And I went to a back room, and I started having this massive traumatic panic attack.
“My heart was pounding. And they put me in an ambulance.
“They offered me some medication, but I said, ‘I don’t want it, ’cause I want to go back and I want to finish this so I can be done with this.’
“And I went back and I finished the testimony.”
Local media reported at the time seeing EMTs arrive at Plymouth Superior Court for someone suffering from a panic attack, although the person was not publicly identified at the time.
Lindsay’s mental health deteriorated after Callan’s birth as she struggled with worsening anxiety, insomnia and suicidal thoughts.
By December, she had also told Patrick about unwanted thoughts of harming the children and was admitted to McLean Hospital for several days.
But after she returned home, Patrick believed she was improving.
“I think I did the best I could with what I had at the time,” he told 60 Minutes.
“And I live with the outcome. I live with it every day. But I think I did the best I could.”
On January 24, 2023, Patrick returned from running an errand and picking up takeout to find Lindsay outside after she had jumped from a second-floor window, before discovering their three children in the basement.
Lindsay survived but was left paralyzed from the waist down.
Patrick later asked her whether she remembered what had happened.
“I asked her if she remembered it. She said it was like a dream,” he said.
“I try not to think about that night, very often.”
During a later phone call, Lindsay told Patrick she had heard a man’s voice ordering her to kill the children and then herself.
Patrick has faced a torrent of baseless conspiracy theories from internet sleuths, including claims that he was somehow involved in the deaths of his children.
Online detectives have picked apart his movements on the night of the killings, his divorce from Lindsay and his subsequent relationship and marriage to Rachel.
There is no evidence Patrick had anything to do with the children’s deaths, and he has never been charged with any crime.
“It’s deeply harmful to the legacy of my children,” he said of the online speculation.
“It is a huge distraction from what really matters here, which is perinatal mental health, and it’s done real harm to real people.”
His lawyers have fiercely hit back at the claims, warning those spreading false allegations that they could face legal action.
Rachel also defended her husband as she addressed the intense scrutiny surrounding their relationship.
“I don’t understand how the story’s been so twisted,” she said.
“But I would hope people know that Pat is, as I said before, the most selfless father and supportive partner.”
The 60 Minutes interview comes as prosecutors continue to weigh whether Lindsay will face a second murder trial in the coming months.
