Tremors were felt in Delhi and adjoining areas on Tuesday night after a 4.9-magnitude earthquake hit Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district.According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) — the nodal government agency monitoring earthquake activity — the epicentre was located at a depth of 13 km in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli.The quake, which logged 4.9 magnitude on the Richter scale, hit at 10.23 pm, the NCS added.
