Kristi Noem launches deportation operations against ‘dirtbags’ in New York City




Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem joined the federal authorities during the first deportation operations in New York City on Tuesday morning.The recently appointed DHS secretary celebrated the successful pre-dawn operation through multiple posts on X, displaying photographs of herself wearing an ICE protective vest while surrounded by armed enforcement officers.”We are doing this right — doing exactly what President @realDonaldTrump promised the American people — making our streets safe. Live this AM from NYC. I’m on it,” Noem posted on X shortly before 5 am.“Dirtbags like this will continue to be removed from our streets,” she added.Noem, aged 53, subsequently released video footage from one of the initial operations, highlighting “a criminal alien with kidnapping, assault & burglary charges” whilst expressing gratitude to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers for apprehending the suspect.In her posts, Noem included several photographs of well-equipped armed officers whilst acknowledging the contributions of DHS, ICE, the Secret Service, the US Drug Enforcement Administration, US Marshals and the NYPD Special Operations unit.
