At least six persons were killed and several others injured in a stampede after a large crowd gathered at the Mansa Devi temple in Uttarakhand’s Haridwar. Garhwal Division Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey confirmed the incident, ANI reported.A rescue and relief operation has been launched and the injured are being taken to hospitals.More details awaited.
