The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has begun public screenings of a video by YouTuber Dhruv Rathee in Punjab, nearly two weeks after the discharge of party leaders in the alleged Delhi liquor scam. The screenings were organised by Punjab State Cooperative Agricultural Development Bank chairman and Adampur Halqa incharge Pawan Kumar Tinu, starting with an event in Alawalpur town. The video, titled “India’s biggest conspiracy, reality of Delhi liquor scam”, presents Rathee’s commentary on the case. Addressing the gathering, Tinu alleged the case was fabricated to defame AAP leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal. He claimed the court discharged the leaders due to lack of evidence. He said the video would be screened in villages across Punjab “so that people know the truth”.
