ADAM RAMSAY-PEATY is getting his head round the London Underground network after relocating closer to his famous in-laws in his pursuit of glory at the LA 2028 Olympics.
The three-time Olympic swimming champion – who hails from Uttoxeter in Staffordshire – trained at Repton School, a private boarding school in Derbyshire, before the Rio 2016 Games.

And then he based himself at Loughborough University ahead of appearances at Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024.
As he eyes a fourth Olympics for Team GB in two years’ time, Ramsay-Peaty will use the London 2012 swimming pool in Stratford as his new training base.
When his long-time coach Mel Marshall took up a job in Australia, he returned to Repton to work with Jamie Main.
But the 31-year-old has now left the Midlands to set up a new home with wife Holly – daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and cookery writer Tana – in the capital.

The pair got married in a glitzy wedding at Bath Abbey last December.
Ramsay-Peaty is now being coached by Lisa Bates at Chelsea and Westminster Swimming Club, splitting his training time between Kensington and the London Aquatics Centre in East London.
The best way to get around London is by tube, as the roads can be grid-locked, but Ramsay-Peaty is still learning the best train connections.
Speaking to Olympics.com, he said: “We just got to that point where I feel like I really outgrew where I was.

“I’ve been training in the Midlands for 15 years-plus. I’ve spent my whole life there and I wanted a different challenge.
“It’s just excitement for me. I need a lot of stimulus in my day and London is giving me that every single day.
“I’m loving it. I’m still getting used to the tube maps. But it has been an incredible thing. It has been timed perfectly.
“Being married, and with future family plans and everything that is going on, I think London is the best place for me. It allows me to focus. I can just get in that zone here.
“I know it’s very premature, because I’ve only been here coming up to four weeks now. But it’s a very nice place for me to be, mentally.
“When you are in a happy place or a good place as an athlete, you start to perform out of your skin.
“It has been a big adjustment, a bit of chaos as well, but nothing that hasn’t been manageable. I’m really looking forward to the next two years.”
Ramsay-Peaty plans to swim at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in late July and then the European Championships in Paris in August.
In California in 2028, he will aim to win a third 100 metres breaststroke title – after missing out on gold by just 0.02 seconds in Paris 2024.
Italian Nicolò Martinenghi was first in 59.03 seconds while Peaty and American Nic Fink shared silver as they posted the same time (59.05 seconds).
He will also target gold in the newly-added 50 metres event on the swim programme.
