Hustle to holiday, the Aneet Padda wayIn a striking close to Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI 2026, actor and Lakme’s Gen Z face Aneet Padda commanded the runway as the showstopper for Pero’s Grand Finale showcase in Mumbai, delivering a look that distilled the essence of modern work-life balance into a single, compelling fashion moment.Taking centre stage at the Jio World Convention Centre, Padda’s ensemble, designed by Aneeth Arora for her Fall/Winter 2026 collection titled “Out of Office”, captured a refined yet playful narrative. Anchored in a crisp blue-and-white palette, the outfit moved away from conventional office neutrals, instead embracing a serene, almost escapist colour story that reflected both structure and ease.Padda’s styling reinforced the collection’s central theme: a seamless transition from “hustle” to “holiday.” The ensemble balanced clean lines with fluid accents, evoking a wardrobe that adapts effortlessly from professional settings to moments of leisure. It was a visual articulation of the modern working woman, grounded yet free-spirited, disciplined yet open to spontaneity.Earlier in the show, Padda also opened the presentation in a floral-applique look that set the tone for the collection’s handcrafted and playful direction. This opening moment established a visual rhythm that carried through the finale, culminating in her showstopper appearance that brought the narrative full circle.Speaking about the experience, Padda described the showcase as “grounded and freeing,” highlighting its emphasis on individuality and rhythm.”Walking the grand finale for The House of Lakme with Pero was truly special. It felt like stepping into a story that’s both grounded and freeing at the same time. There’s a quiet strength in the way this showcase reimagines everyday routines into something more expressive and personal. For me, it wasn’t just about walking the runway for Lakme, it was about representing a mindset that values individuality, fluidity, and finding your own rhythm between work and escape. Lakme celebrating this story of the modern working woman is incredibly empowering,” she said.Aditi Rao Hydari stuns in Satya Paul outfitAditi Rao Hydari looked stunning as she walked the ramp for designer Satya Paul at the Lakme Fashion Week 2026 on Sunday.Satya Paul presented the Satya Paul x Aditi Rao Hydari capsule collection.Marking actor Aditi Rao Hydari’s first foray into fashion design as Co-Creative Director, the runway showcase brought together her creative sensibility with Satya Paul’s distinctive design language. The collection reflected a shared vision of garments designed for the rhythm of contemporary life. Moving across a variety of silhouettes, the showcase presented a wardrobe that balanced fluid drapes with modern forms, offering pieces that transition seamlessly across occasions and settings.Drawing from Satya Paul’s signature use of colour and print, the collection introduced visual motifs such as dragonflies, florals and abstract compositions that appeared across the garments.Commenting on her role as Co-Creative Director, Aditi shares, “Working on this collection felt like a chance to really explore what I love; art, colour, and storytelling, and see that translate into something effortless and playful.. I wanted it to feel easy and authentic to my aesthetic. Creating, with freedom, using fabrics that I love, and forever dreaming and coming up with new design ideas has always been instinctive for me; it feels natural to me and it empowers me. The fact that femininity, softness and vulnerability can and must co-exist with ferocity, strength and individuality. This is who I am and who I strive to be with every choice and with every creation.”She continued, “Getting to do this alongside David Abraham and Rakesh Thakore, and with a brand as iconic as Satya Paul, has been incredibly special. The whole process with the team allowed me to look at the saree in a way that felt both expressive and relatable. And seeing it all come together on the ramp, it’s been truly surreal,” as quoted in the press note.Siddhant Chaturvedi, Kalki Koechlin, Alaya’s ‘fun’ walkSiddhant Charturvedi, Kalki Koechlin and Alaya F stole the show with their groovy dance steps while walking for Max Fashion.Max Fashion presented its new collection, “Unserious Everything,” at the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai, emphasising effortless style and playful craft at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.Alaya F channelled a peppy-retro aesthetic in a citrine crop top and low-rise blue denims, while actress Kalki Koechlin opted for a minimalist, all-white ensemble featuring a sleeveless top and midi skirt.Rounding out the highlights, Siddhant brought a playful, high-fashion edge on the ramp in a crisp white jacket adorned with funky brooches.
