Bittu Bajrangi, president of the cow protection Bajrang Force, Faridabad, was duped of Rs 30,000 by a group posing as a marriage party.An FIR has been registered at Saran police station.Bittu was introduced to a woman named Rani and a man named Bunty, who claimed to have a relative looking to get married. They showed Bittu several potential brides, but he didn’t like any.On September 5, 2025, Bunty and Rani arrived at Bittu’s house with the young woman and her family. After everything was finalised, the wedding was arranged for February 7.On February 6, Bittu transferred Rs 30,000 to them for the bride’s clothes. However, when he arrived in Aligarh with the wedding procession, the accused were nowhere to be found, and their phones were switched off.“When I called on the girl’s number, she flatly stated that she knew nothing about the wedding,” Bittu said in his complaint.The police are investigating the case, and an FIR has been registered against Bunty, Rani and others.Bittu Bajrangi is also facing accusations related to communal riots in Nuh in 2023.
