(Both Hulu and ABC are owned by Disney.)Season 3 of “Vanderpump Villa,” which starts streaming on Hulu on April 16, follows the staff who work at reality star and entrepreneur Lisa Vanderpump’s villa.Mortensen is also among the 16 reality-TV stars tapped for “Unwell Winter Games,” a new reality series from Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network that’s expected to start streaming on YouTube later this month.Representatives for Mortensen and Cooper’s Unwell Network did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Jattvibe News has also reached out to Paul for comment.Jattvibe News first reported the pause in filming for Season 5 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” on March 17, a decision made unanimously by the rest of the cast in a March 7 meeting with ABC executives, one source close to the show told Jattvibe News. During the call, an audio recording of which was obtained by Jattvibe News, cast members also raised concerns about Paul’s behavior and their ability to work with her.TMZ then released a video on March 19 allegedly showing a domestic violence dispute for which Paul was charged in February 2023. The video, which appeared to have been recorded by Mortensen, showed Paul attacking Mortensen in front of her daughter.Court records indicate that in August 2023, Paul pleaded guilty in abeyance to an aggravated assault charge related to that incident.Four other charges in that case — including assault, criminal mischief and domestic violence in the presence of a child — were dismissed with prejudice, the records show. That video prompted ABC to cancel Paul’s upcoming season of “The Bachelorette” just three days before the show’s March 22 premiere date. Two police departments in Utah have since confirmed they are investigating domestic violence allegations against Paul.A spokesman for the West Jordan Police Department told Jattvibe News on March 24 that the department is looking into allegations against Paul stemming from a reported incident in 2024.The spokesman said Mortensen filed the 2024 allegations at the end of February and that investigators are reviewing multiple videos from the incident. So far, police have only spoken to Mortensen to get his side of the story and have been in touch with Paul’s attorney in an effort to have her either submit a written statement or come in for an interview to help corroborate some of the details in Mortensen’s report.Police in Draper told Jattvibe News, also on March 24, that there is a separate open domestic violence investigation into Paul and Mortensen, with allegations on both sides. That report was called in on Feb. 24 and Feb. 25.Draper police declined to share further details.Police records from Draper indicate that a friend of Mortensen’s also called authorities to report Paul’s involvement in an alleged domestic violence incident. The incident, which reportedly occurred between Feb. 22 and Feb. 23, was called in on Feb. 23.The victim listed in the police records later told police about two incidents of physical assault, including grabbing, scratching, shoving and striking, according to the documents. The victim also told police that they were “apprehensive to report due to ex-girlfriend’s high public profile,” according to the records.Draper police declined to share further details about the open investigation at the time, and the report did not specifically name Mortensen as the victim. It was unclear whether the friend’s allegations were part of the previously reported investigation or a new one.Mortensen filed a protective order against Paul on March 20. At the time, Mortensen was granted full custody of his and Paul’s shared son, Ever, until the two could meet in court. That hearing is currently scheduled for Tuesday.
