Devotees caught a man tearing copies of Gutka Sahib, a small religious book for daily prayers, near Sri Guru Arjan Niwas Serai on the Golden Temple complex on Monday night.

He was identified as Gupreet Singh.

Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Harjinder Singh Dhami has demanded a strict action against the accused following the alleged incident.
