A shocking incident has come to light where a woman attempts to courier her elderly father in a sack. This gimmick to get famous and attract eyeballs on social media has landed the woman in trouble.She later claims that due to rising bus fares and paucity of tickets during the Ugadi-Ramzan season, the family was left with no option, but, to courier him to Mangalore.The woman, along with her five family members, failed to convince the staff at the courier company. When the family refused to open up the heavy-white sack, the staff opened it up, and were gobsmacked to find an elderly man quietly emerging from inside.Local reports suggest that the old man was finding it difficult to breathe and seemed to be in distress. As the argument broke out, the police was involved.The ‘strange’ family was then tracked and called to the Vyalikaval police station. The woman claimed that their family was upset as her old father couldn’t travel to Mangalore, hence, sought to parcel him.One user on X commented, “Never thought someone try to pull off that mr. bean episode in real life.” While another user wrote, “Weird world indeed. Sometimes people forget that real life is not equal reel life.”No legal action was taken against the family, however, they were free to go after issuing a video apology. The police strictly warned them against this behaviour.
