EMILY Atack has revealed why she has decided to ban children from her wedding – despite being a mum to baby Barney, two.
The Rivals actress, 36, and scientist Dr Alistair Garner, 40, announced their engagement last July, and now they are set to get married in a few months – but the bride has been laying down the rules.

The mum-of-one, who welcomed her son with Alistair in 2024, has revealed that guests aren’t allowed to bring their children to her big day.
Although it appears the news has gone down well with her friends and family.
Speaking on The Romesh Ranganathan Show podcast, Emily said: “We’re being kind to our friends and making sure that people don’t have to worry too much about paying for lots of things, but we have said no kids at the wedding, no children.”
The TV star then added: “I’m surprised by how many people are happy about that. I thought I’d get a lot of people kicking off, but they’re like, ‘No, ‘f*** those kids’.”

Emily has been slowly teasing her fans with details about her big day.
A few weeks ago, the actress finally revealed the date she would wed Alistair.
Speaking to Luxury London Magazine, she said: “I think I’ve nailed it. We’re getting married in September. I’ve very much enjoyed the planning process.”
She added: “Choosing napkins and stuff. I’m like, ”My God, my life is here!”

The Jattvibe previously revealed how The Inbetweeners legend had been considering getting married in Spain, after looking at wedding venues over there.
A source previously told us: “Emily has been going to Spain with her family on holiday ever since she was a child and loves the idea of getting married there.
“She and Alistair adore the stunning countryside there, and guaranteed sun is a bonus.
“They love the idea of friends and family joining them.”
She previously said of southern Spain: “I loved my family holidays there when I was growing up.
“We had a property there and my dad sold it a couple of years ago, but it’s our favourite place and we still go every year, and stay in a hotel.”
Emily delighted fans when she revealed last summer that she and Alistair were engaged, after four years of dating.
The couple shared the news with a loved-up selfie, which saw the actress flash her huge sparkler.
In her caption, she wrote: “It’s Friday, I’m in love,” followed by three ring emojis.
Meanwhile, Emily is currently on a career high and is starring alongside Danny Dyer, 48, in the latest season of Rivals AND the new quiz show Nobody’s Fool.
