The team of slain Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh, alias Sidhu Moosewala, on Friday announced the title of his upcoming track, “Eyes On Me”, through a post on his official Instagram account, indicating that the song may revolve around the circumstances surrounding his murder.The post, accompanied by a photograph of the late singer, suggested that it would highlight crucial information allegedly gathered by the assailants before the killing. The details shared in the Instagram post included references to his vehicles, his usual companions, weapons, his movement timings, CCTV installations around his residence, and earlier chances that were allegedly missed.Moosewala, a resident of Moosa village in Mansa district, was shot dead in his jeep at Jawaharke village on May 29, 2022, at the age of 28, sending shockwaves across the globe. He was killed just a day after the state government had curtailed his security cover.Since the killing, his family has been demanding justice, while the trial in the case is currently underway in a Mansa court. Recently, the Supreme Court granted bail to two accused – Pawan Kumar Bishnoi and Jagtar Singh – in connection with the case.The singer’s last posthumous release, “Barota”, launched in November last year, reportedly became the second most commented video globally on YouTube, crossing 10 million comments.
