A Ferozepur court on Friday remanded gangster Ashish Chopra in four-day police custody till March 17 in connection with a triple-murder case.Chopra, who was arrested by the Punjab Police with the assistance of central agencies at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, was produced before Chief Judicial Magistrate Anoop Singh after being brought to Ferozepur under heavy security late on Thursday night.The gangster is accused of involvement in a triple-murder incident on September 2 last year, when six motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly fired around 50 bullets at a group of youths.In the attack, Jaspreet Kaur (26), her brother Akasdeep Singh (21) and cousin Dildeep Singh (32) were killed, while two other relatives were injured.The police had named eight accused in the case, including Ravinder, alias Ravi, alias Sukhu, Rajvir Singh, alias Daler Singh, Sukhchain Singh, alias Jass Giani, Akshay, alias Bashi, Gautam, Prince, Ashish Chopra and Happy Mall.
