The collections remained steady through the week, earning Rs 3.25 crore on day four, Rs 3 crore on day five, Rs 2.60 crore on day six, and Rs 2.15 crore on day seven.The film released on 7th February along with Himesh Reshammiya’s Badas Ravikumar and Khushi Kapoor-Junaid Khan’s Loveyapa and this re-released film has minted more money than both the new films combined. Harshvardhan Rane, who played the brooding protagonist Inder, had been actively campaigning for the film’s re-release. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, he revealed that he had been trying to bring the film back to theatres for over a year. His social media campaign played a crucial role in reviving interest. In one of his Instagram posts, he had challenged fans that if his post received 10,000 likes, he would personally approach producer Deepak Mukut to push for the re-release. The post ended up garnering 30,000 likes, setting the stage for the film’s return to cinemas.The overwhelming response has taken everyone by surprise, reaffirming Sanam Teri Kasam’s status as a cult favorite.
