In a major counter-terrorism breakthrough, Indian Army Special Forces have eliminated Hashim Musa, the mastermind behind the recent Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives.Musa, a key figure in cross-border terror operations, was killed during an operation in a forests near Dachigam, Jammu and Kashmir.At least three terrorists were neutralised in the fierce gunfight, the Army’s Chinar Corps confirmed on X, adding that the operation is still ongoing.Security forces had launched a massive operation to track down the perpetrators of the Pahalgam attack that left 26 people dead, and intelligence inputs over the past month had suggested that the terrorists might have moved towards the Dachigam area, which is around 20 km from Srinagar’s city centre.The security forces, acting on an intelligence input, launched an anti-militancy operation in the Mulnar area of Harwan on Monday morning.
