The Himachal Pradesh government on Thursday transferred 14 IPS officers.Shimla SP Sanjeev Gandhi has been put at the disposal of the Department of Personnel. Gandhi, who was recently promoted to the post of the DGP, has been serving as the Shimla SP since 2023. He will be replaced by Solan SP Gaurav Singh.A notification to this effect was issued by the state government.The government has also transferred Tiruamalaraju SD Varma, currently serving as ADC to Governor as the Solan SP. Varma will be replaced by Sandeep Bhardwaj, SP, State Human Rights Commission, Shimla.Sachin Hiremath, SP, SV & ACB in Mandi, will be the new Una SP, replacing Amit Yadav, who has been asked to report to the Police Headquarters, Shimla.SP, Cybercrime, Rohit Malpani, who was recently promoted to the post of the DIG, will now serve as the DIG, Cybercrime, in Shimla.SP (Leave Reserve) Ramesh Chhajta will be DIG, Prisons & Correctional Services, Shimla; and Devakar Sharma, Commandant, 4th Indian Reserve Battalion, Jangalberi, will be DIG, Intelligence & Security, Dharamsala. He will be replaced by Arvind Chaudhary, who is currently serving as SP (Leave Reserve) in Shimla.Mandi SP Sakshi Verma will be the SP, State Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau, Mandi. She will be replaced by 2006-batch HPPS officer Vinod Kumar. Kumar has been serving as the Assistant Inspector General, Traffic Tourist and Railway, in Shimla.DK Chaudhary, principal, Police Training College, Daroh, Kangra, will be the IG, Armed Police & Training, Daroh, relieving Bimal Gupta, IG, SV & ACB, Shimla, of the additional charge.Chaudhary will be replaced by Soumya Sambasivan, IG (Northern Range), Dharamsala, who has been given the additional charge of the principal, Police Training College, Daroh.Abhishek Dular, the IG currently awaiting a posting, will be IG, Communication & Technical Services, in Shimla.
