However, the momentum didn’t last. Monday saw a sharp decline, with collections dropping to Rs 55 lakh, and the trend remained flat on Tuesday. By Wednesday and Thursday, the film was barely managing Rs 50 lakh and Rs 35 lakh respectively signaling an early exit from theaters.The film, touted as a fresh take on modern relationships, struggled to resonate with audiences. While Khushi’s next is going to be Naadaniyan which will mark the debut of Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan- the film has been directed by newcomer Shauna Gautam and backed by Karan Johar.
