Punjabi singer and rapper Karan Aujla has been at the centre of a controversy after a Canada-based artist, known as Ms Gori, publicly accused him of being in a romantic relationship with her without disclosing that he was married to Palak Aujla.The situation escalated after Indian actor and entrepreneur Parul Gulati posted a video on social media defending Aujla and disputing Gori’s claims. In her video, Parul recalled an encounter with Aujla, noted that he had later unfollowed her on Instagram, and characterised his actions as those of a devoted husband who would promise his wife’s security.She also questioned Gori’s assertions, suggesting that the alleged claims were made for attention.In response, Gori took to her Instagram Stories to share Parul’s video and express her disappointment at the public reaction to her allegations. She wrote that the backlash highlighted why “women don’t speak up,” saying that people often judge without understanding and rush to shame those who come forward.So far, neither Aujla nor his team has issued a direct statement addressing the controversy.
