Post-mortem examinations revealed gunshot wounds to their heads, BBC reported.Authorities apprehended him after reports of a disturbance, discovering a loaded shotgun and over 30 cartridges nearby. At his initial court appearance, his father Ray Prosper expressed emotional support, stating: “I still love you, son. It’s not your fault, OK?”Detective Chief Inspector Sam Khanna, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: “This was a truly tragic and shocking case in which three innocent members of the same family have been brutally killed by their son and brother.“No words can fully describe the tragedy their loved ones have experienced, and our thoughts continue to be with them at this difficult time. We are pleased that Prosper has pleaded guilty and will not put his family through the pain of a trial, and that he will soon face a significant jail sentence.“What was subsequently uncovered during our investigation left no doubt as to his intentions to carry out an attack at a school, but fortunately Prosper was apprehended before he could cause any further harm.”Prosper’s disturbing internet activity reveals patternAnalysis of Prosper’s internet activity revealed concerning patterns, including frequent visits to websites featuring death-related content and an interest in mass shootings, particularly the 1999 Columbine incident. His online activities led to his removal from a website due to inappropriate comments about minors, including his admission of viewing illicit content involving child abuse. No charges were filed regarding such material.Nicholas Prosper had devised plans for a mass shooting at his previous primary school.His fixation with the video game character Clementine from The Walking Dead led to disturbing statements. In a post-murder video, he declared: “I am the chosen one; chosen by Clementine. I am guided as Christians are guided by Jesus Christ.”Cardinal Newman Catholic School, which both Prosper brothers attended, remembered Kyle fondly. The school has emphasised its commitment to security measures following revelations about Nicholas’s planned attack.Local authorities, including Luton Borough Council leader Hazel Simmons, have addressed community concerns.
