An 18-year-old man has been charged with murdering a 63-year-old man who was found dead on New Year’s Day in Ipswich.William McNicholl, known as Billy, was discovered with a stab wound to his shoulder and head injuries in a house on Hawthorn Drive.
Jake McMillan, then 17, was arrested three weeks later before being bailed.Suffolk Police rearrested him on Monday and charged him with murder and being concerned in the supply of cannabis.Officers said the suspect used to live in Ipswich but was most recently based in Hackney, east London.

They have been bailed until 1 October.Police said a woman in her 50s, who was previously arrested on suspicion of murder, will face no further action.
