Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin Saturday accused Centre of “insulting” Manmohan Singh’s family by preventing them from performing last rites for the two-time PM “at a fitting site for his memorial”. “The decision is a direct insult to his towering legacy and the Sikh community. Refusing the family’s request and relegating a two-term PM to Nigambodh Ghat reeks of arrogance, bias, & a deliberate attempt to erase his immense contributions from public memory,” he posted on X.
