PM Narendra Modi on Saturday spoke with Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami to take stock of the ongoing rescue operation at Mana, where 55 BRO workers were trapped in an avalanche.Expressing gratitude for the Centre’s support, Dhami wrote on X the PM spoke to him over the phone and inquired about the rescue operations in Mana. Modi also sought details on rain and snowfall conditions in the state and assured the central govt would provide all possible assistance.Dhami, meanwhile, has reached Jyotirmath to personally monitor the multi-agency search and rescue operation. He also directed officials to re-establish contact with villages were cut off due to heavy snowfall. Teams have been dispatched to these areas with essential supplies, including food and medicines, he said.
