Punjab AAP MLA Raman Arora arrested in corruption case

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Raman Arora has reportedly been arrested by the Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) while visiting a temple.

Sources claim the arrest is linked to a corruption case involving former Assistant Town Planner (ATP) of the Municipal Corporation, Sukhdev Vashisht, who was arrested last week.

Arora allegedly used Vashisht to issue bogus notices and extort money from targeted individuals. A VB raid was also conducted at Arora’s residence following his arrest. More details are awaited.
