Punjab’s State Special Operations Cell (SSOC), Mohali, busted a major espionage network linked to Jasbir Singh from Mahlan village in Ropar.

He allegedly maintained contact with Shakir alias Jutt Randhawa (Pakistan-based PIO), Jyoti Malhotra (Haryana-based YouTuber arrested earlier for spying), Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish (a Pakistani national and expelled Pak High Commission official).

Traveled to Pakistan three times (2020, 2021, 2024).

Devices found with multiple Pakistan-based contacts.

Cover-up Attempt

After Jyoti Malhotra’s arrest, Jasbir tried to delete all communication traces with foreign operatives.

FIR registered at SSOC, Mohali; digital forensics are underway.
