Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has reportedly received a death threat and an extortion demand of Rs 10 crore from the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, NDTV reports.The report says  the threat was sent through a voice note from a United States-registered phone number.Mumbai Police have launched a probe into the matter, with the Crime Branch taking charge of the investigation. Sources said the police are coordinating with US law enforcement agencies to trace the origin of the number and identify those involved. Authorities are examining technical evidence, including call data records and digital footprints, to verify the authenticity of the threat.Security around the actor is expected to be reviewed as a precautionary measure.The Bishnoi gang has previously been linked to high-profile extortion and threat cases involving celebrities.
