Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal and BJP working president Ashwani Sharma along with Dera Beas head Gurinder Dhillon have joined Punjab Governer Gulab Chand Kataria’s foot arch against drugs in Ferozepur.Since this is the first time the BJP and SAD leaders have come together on a platform, speculations over a re-alliance between the two parties has gained momentum. The key participant is Dera Head Gurinder Singh Dhillon who had recently visited SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia in Nabha Jail, just days before Majithia’s bail.Adding a certain degree of credibility to the speculations about the possible political realignment between SAD, and the Saffron Party, the presence of Dera Beas Head Gurinder Dhillon besides BJP State Working President Ashwani Sharma, and SAD Chief Sukhbir Badal who all attended the Governor’s rally, has created a buzz in political circles.While the Dera Beas Head and Sharma flanked the Governor during the entire stretch of ‘Padyatra’, Sukhbir joined the event during the end of the programme, and didn’t come face to face with Sharma.
