There’s no stopping for 41-year-old Sangram Singh, the wrestler-turned-mixed martial arts professional. Sangram, who is scheduled to face French fighter Florian Coudiere on April 5 in Buenos Aires, wants more youngsters to adopt a sport. “It’s not easy to get going with MMA. It takes days to recover after every fight and carries high risk of injuries. I started MMA considering my focus towards attaining peak fitness, but I am loving this sport,” he said.In his debut MMA fight, Sangram pinned Pakistan’s Ali Raza Nasir in 90 seconds. Last year, Sangram made history by becoming the first Indian to claim victory in the Levels Fight League (LFL) in Europe. “The upcoming fight will be my fourth event. I will enter the ring with a vast experience,” he said.
