He highlighted how misunderstandings within a star’s entourage can sometimes create unnecessary drama. In a recent conversation with Digital Commentary, Saurabh opened up about a particular scene in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick. The scene in question involved his character meeting his daughter’s suitor, Devi Lal Singh, played by Salman.Sikandar | Song – Bam Bam Bhole“Salman’s character meets me for the first time as my daughter’s boyfriend. Interestingly, the scene is written in such a way that he asks me about my salary, my savings, etc. So when I was asked that question, I reacted in a way that showed the audience I was stumped and shocked.”However, what happened after the scene was shot took him by surprise. An assistant of Salman approached him and suggested that he modify his reaction to appear intimidated instead. He was asked to act scared in front of Salman’s Devi Lal Singh. When he argued that such a reaction would not make sense, the assistant pointed out that Salman might not like his response. The matter took an unexpected turn when Salman himself intervened. Instead of siding with his assistant, the Sultan actor shut down the interference.“Salman called his assistant and told him not to disturb me at all. He said my acting was on point and that it was the perfect response to the scene,” Saurabh shared. He further added that if Salman had not confronted the assistant, things could have turned unpleasant between them.On the work front, Saurabh Shukla is gearing up for the release of ‘Jolly LLB 3’, alongside Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar.Meanwhile, Salman Khan is set to return to the big screen with ‘Sikandar’, directed by AR Murugadoss.
