The makers of Vishal Bhardwaj’s O’ Romeo on Friday unveiled the first look of Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor from the upcoming film, which is slated for a theatrical release on February 14.Also featuring Triptii Dimri, the film marks the fourth collaboration between Kapoor and Bhardwaj, who have previously worked together on Kaminey, Haider and Rangoon.The action thriller is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The production house shared the first look of Shahid’s titular character on its official social media handles.The poster presents a dark and violent visual, with Shahid seen bloodied, roaring in rage and sporting multiple tattoos, hinting at an intense and gritty character.The film’s plot has been kept under wraps. Bhardwaj is best known for his acclaimed adaptations of Shakespeare’s works for the Indian screen, including Maqbool (2003), Omkara (2006) and Haider (2014).The ensemble cast of O’ Romeo also includes Nana Patekar, Farida Jalal, Avinash Tiwary, Vikrant Massey, Disha Patani and Tamannaah Bhatia.Shahid was last seen in Rosshan Andrrews’s Deva, co-starring Pooja Hegde. He will next be seen alongside Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna in the upcoming sequel to Cocktail.
