Raghbir Singh Bharowal, a 42-year-old Punjab native settled in Canada, has died in a motorcycle accident in Peru during a solo world tour that he had named the ‘Flying Khalsa World Tour’. He was a resident of Surrey, British Columbia, and a regulated Canadian immigration consultant.Bharowal, a father of three, had been travelling alone for the past few weeks as part of an ambitious global journey that began nearly three months ago. According to his family, he had planned to cover 31 countries on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle before returning to Canada briefly and continuing the tour.He last shared a short video clip from Peru on social media three days before contact with him was lost. When repeated attempts to reach him failed, his family grew concerned and began making inquiries through local authorities and contacts. On Tuesday, they were informed about his death in a road accident.Surrey-based journalist Gurpreet Singh Sahota said the family had been anxiously waiting for updates after losing touch with Bharowal. Confirmation of his death has left relatives, friends, and members of the Indo-Canadian community in shock.His father, Pritam Singh Bharowal, who resides in Surrey but is currently in Ludhiana attending a wedding, said his son was passionate about travel and adventure.
